It’s like if you’ve ever gone to the airport and waited and waited, up to four or five hours, before it suddenly occurs to you, “Wait a minute. What am I doing here? I’m not scheduled to fly anywhere.” And you end up late for work.  

Or that zoo down the street, where you’re able to walk among, and feed, some of the animals, until you realize, “This is no zoo… This is a progressive preschool!”

There’s a lot less going on than we realize and that’s what’s creating much of the distraction.
